I received your OPRA request on December 27, 2022 for “billing rates
borough attorney, please provide copies of all 2022 invoices submitted
from January 2022 to date.”  This response is being provided to you on the
second (2^nd) business day of the custodian’s receipt of the said request.

responsive to your request:

 2. 2022 Invoices (117 pages)

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A1-1, there are specific exemptions under OPRA,
including but not limited to, records within attorney-client privilege. 
These documents, have therefore, been modified to exclude any information
that would violate these exemptions.

unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Bergenfield to deny
access.  At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
