Kevin Walsh, Acting State Comptroller, State of New Jersey, Office of the State Comptroller, MER-L-996-22, Appellate Dockets A-004009-21 and A-000119-22 and Supreme Court Docket No. 087672.
2. Contracts and agreements and amendments thereto pertaining to services by the law firm of Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP related to NJ Criminal Interdiction, L.L.C. d/b/a Street Cop Training v. Kevin Walsh, Acting State Comptroller, State of New Jersey, Office of the State Comptroller, MER-L-996-22, Appellate Dockets A-004009-21 and A-000119-22 and Supreme Court Docket No. 087672.
OPRA requires immediate access must be granted to budgets, bills, vouchers, contracts, etc. If any or part of this request is denied, please send me a letter describing the material and listing the specific exemption(s) upon which you rely. I would appreciate receiving this material in digital format and preferably publicly on the OPRAMachine. If the cost of scanning and/or downloading for this request does not exceed $50, proceed without further approval and send me an invoice with the records. Otherwise, please advise me of the costs before filling the request so that we can discuss arrangements.

Please be advised that pursuant to regulation, N.J.A.C. 13:1E-2, submission of records requests by email to the Department of Law and Public Safety is not permitted. N.J.A.C. 13:1E-2.4(a) states: "Written Open Public Records Act (OPRA) requests shall be hand-delivered during normal business hours of the public agency, mailed or submitted electronically to the appropriate division or agency custodian of records over the Internet by means of a web-enabled OPRA request form [.] Submission of requests by e-mail or facsimile transmission is not permitted." Pursuant to this regulation, I am not able to accept your email as a valid OPRA request for access to government records.

If you wish to mail your request, the mailing addresses for the various Records Custodians within the Department of Law & Public Safety can be found on page 2 of the attached form. You are not required to utilize the attached request form. A hard copy letter detailing the records you are seeking would also suffice.
