Good morning,
I’m not sure if someone reached out to you or not. I received your after
the computer system became unavailable. At this point I am not sure when I
will be able to respond. Please see below.
The Purchasing Department is in receipt of your request made pursuant to
the New Jersey Public Oen Public records Act (OPRA). The statutorily
mandated timeframe to respond is seven (7) business days provided that the
record in not archived or in storage. The computer systems that hold the
records you seek have been out of commission and therefore an addition
thirty (30) days is required to fulfill your request. Notwithstanding this
fact, the Township of Montclair is making a reasonable effort, as the
circumstance permit, to respond to your OPRA request as soon as practical.
