Dear OPRA,
I am not sure what you mean by a formal request. We have clearly asked for the bid tabulation from this project with the given date.
Yours sincerely,
PPA
Ms. Baisley:
You asked for an internal review of Cape May County's handling of your OPRA request as evidenced in a copy of your email below. No such request was received by the County for which you were asking for an internal review, that is why you were instructed to make a formal request for the records you are seeking.
A request is not considered filed until the appropriate records custodian receives the request. Requests for records maintained by the County of Cape May must be submitted in writing on either the official form (attached for your use) or via an email stating the request is being made pursuant to OPRA. The deadline for responding to the request does not begin until the proper custodian is in receipt of the request.
