Please find attached Recommendation of Award Letter for the above project,
recommending award of the project to Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. of
Hammonton, NJ in the amount of $1,935,600.00. This is in line with our
construction cost estimate of $1,944,530.00. The bid tabulation and our
construction estimates are enclosed in the letter for reference.

 

Note, my prior handwritten list had a typo for S&G Paving Base Bid ‘B’. We
wrote $1,492,000.83, but the actual amount in their bid was $1,000,492.83.
Moved them to 2^nd overall, does not impact low bidder.

We took bids this morning for Emleys Hill Road. Asphalt Paving Systems out
of Hammonton was the apparent low bidder. See attached hand summary.
Prices are in line with estimate.

 

Will get you scanned bid packages and recommendation letter later
today/early tomorrow. Believe Dana wants to get this on Thursday night if
possible.
