Please send a copy of the entire personnel file of Benjamin P Ritter (Ben Ritter) and any/all training records, licensures, or credentials in your possession from 2014 until present
Records relating to the hiring, discharge, performance, awards, credentials, Salary history, benefits, information such as leave balances and usage of dates, date of hire, and any and all paystubs during the time of Benjamin Ritter’s volunteer or employment with your municipality from 2014 until the present
Please send as well any and all records pertaining to any background investigation done on Benjamin P Ritter (Ben Ritter) from 2014 until the present

On December 2, 2024 the Clerk’s office received a request for documents
filed by email. By law, this request is deemed received as of December
3, 2024.
Your request was filed pursuant to OPRA and the “Common Law Right to
Know”. On December 3, 2024, the Village attorney sent an email to the
email address provided by you regarding the Common Law request and your
interest in procuring the documents requested. As of the date of this
email, no response to that email was received. Therefore, it is presumed
your interest in receiving the documents requested pursuant to the Common
Law Right to Know is subordinate to the confidentiality of the privacy of
personnel records.
Please find attached the records provided pursuant to OPRA which are
responsive to your request. Any and all other personnel records, if they
exist, are exempt pursuant to the OPRA legislation.
This concludes the response to your documents request and the matter is
closed.
