The University has reviewed your request. The responsive document(s) is
available to you through the Rutgers University Open Records Center.
Please log in to the [3]Records Center and "My Request Center" to retrieve
the appropriate responsive document(s). The document(s) is also attached
to this email for your convenience.

We have provided responsive records to part 1, 2, and 6 of your request
with the responsive records that we currently have available. We do not
have a mechanism to distinguish between voluntary separations/retirements
or terminations on a large scale. If you request that information on an
individual basis, it should be something we can provide.
Healthcare enrollment information, and pensions and benefits information
is exempt from disclosure under OPRA as these are considered confidential
personnel records. We do not maintain a full list of all employees who are
currently suspended, and in addition, that information would be considered
a confidential personnel record, exempt from disclosure. Therefore
portions 3, 4, and 5 of your request are denied.
Portion 7 of your request is denied, as we do not keep a running YTD
record of salaries, therefore no responsive record exists. You may request
a year-end record, which we maintain for payroll purposes.
Please note, pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
(FERPA) student employees are not included on this report. 20 U.S.C. §
1232g; 34 CFR Part 99. Student employment is often tied to financial aid
or other funding sources and therefore student employment records are
exempt from disclosure under OPRA. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9.

If your request has been denied, you may take your appeal to the New
Jersey Government Records Council (NJGRC), which has mediation and dispute
resolution procedures, or you may file a lawsuit with the New Jersey
Superior Court, as provided by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. Your rights of
appeal is provided with this letter at [4]Public Facing Pages of the
Rutgers University Open Public Records Request Center. You may also review
the brochure at the [5]Rutgers Custodian of Records page or visit the
[6]NJGRC page.

If you have any questions, or wish to discuss this further, you may
contact my office at 973.972.1981.
