Dear Mr. Tortura,
We received your OPRA Request on March 18, 2021 for “the audio recording
of the Mayor & Council meeting on March 16, 2021, including the
transcription and minutes of the meeting”. As such, the seven (7)
business day deadline to respond to your request is March 29, 2021. This
response to your request is being provided to you on the same day of the
of the custodian’s receipt of said request.
The following records are being provided and are responsive to your
request:
1. CD recording of March 16, 2021 Mayor & Council
regular meeting
There is no transcription of the meeting and meeting minutes are not
available at this time.
These records are being transmitted to you via pick up, as per your
request. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.b, the cost associated with this
request is ten ($.10) cents. You can stop by to pick up the CD between
8:30am- 4:30pm and remit payment at time of pick up.
If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Bergenfield to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
