Dear Resident,
The document that was provided to you was the payment issued in December
2022 for the November 2022 attorney bills. That was the only record the
District had that was responsive to your request. If your request was
seeking the detailed attorney invoice for the month of December 2022, the
District did not have any record responsive to your request at the date
your original OPRA request was made. However, since that time, the
District does have such a document. If you would like the District to
produce the detailed attorney invoice for December 2022 that it obtained
after your request was submitted, I am happy to produce it. Kindly let me
know.

The Board is in receipt of your Open Public Records Act ("OPRA") request.
Specifically, your request sought:
“All attorney bills, invoices, payments from 12/1/2022-01/10/2023.
Include line items on all invoices.”
Your request requires additional time to respond due to the need to review
potentially responsive records for confidential information and due to the
significant demands placed on the District with regard to the
exceptionally large number of OPRA requests the Board has received. OPRA
allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-5(i). Specifically, OPRA states that “the requestor shall be advised
by the custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is
not made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied.”
Accordingly, your request requires an extension of time until March 10,
2023.
