Based on this request responsive records have been identified. (SEE
ATTACHED) The NJDEP has responsive records for Request Item # 1
(attendance records), in the form of timesheet records. The records will
be emailed to you after they have been scanned, reviewed, and redacted.
The NJDEP estimates this process to be completed within 7-business days.
The NJDEP has denied the portion of these responsive records that reveal
personal identifying information (i.e. social security numbers) pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1. This portion will be redacted from the responsive
records. The responsive records for Request Item # 2 (email logs) consist
of 180,514 email records or lines within the four (4) email logs. The
number of emails and the requirement to review and redact privilege
information, such as personal email addresses in the Sender & Recipient
fields, would result in a substantial disruption of operations if
performed by the NJDEP. As such, the NJDEP requests that you reevaluate
this Request Item and determine if you can narrow it down by either
providing a subject matter/terms of interest or severally shortening the
time period. Please respond to this concern by emailing the
[email address] mailbox. Please note that if no reasonable
solution can be reached between you and NJDEP, this request item can be
denied pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.g & N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9.

Apologies for my late response, I was on vacation last week. Even with John Hanf's email log, there are 23,381 lines of emails that would require a review of the sender, recipient and subject lines.
I'm sure you have a reason for submitting the request. If you can provide any subject terms, matter names, etc., I can identify the responsive emails to your interest. This will remove a large volume of non-responsive emails.
If your incline, you can email the search terms, I can do a run on John Hanf's emails.
