Asbestos removal, demolition and excavation of 150 Taylor Street
Dear Orange City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1) Asbestos-related records for the period March 30, 2025 through June 30, 2025
- All permits, asbestos abatement permits or notifications, notices of work, and any approvals related to asbestos removal or abatement for the demolition/excavation and site work at 150 Taylor Street, Orange, NJ.
- All records identifying contractors, subcontractors, licenses, registrations, insurance certificates, bonds, and the scope of work for asbestos-related activities.
- All asbestos-related site plans, air monitoring reports, remediation plans, disposal manifests, waste tracking, decontamination procedures, and related documentation.
- All correspondence between the City and 150 Taylor LLC or contractors concerning asbestos remediation and related work during the period.
2) All other records for the project through to present (March 30, 2025 – present)
- All records related to demolition, excavation, backfilling, fencing, site preparation, grading, shoring, dewatering, and all related earthwork at 150 Taylor Street.
- Records concerning the adjacent property at 154 Taylor Street, including asbestos-related records if applicable, stucco or exterior finishing work, and any work affecting the exterior of 150 Taylor Street by or for 150 Taylor LLC.
- Permits, applications, plans, variances, certificates of occupancy, inspection reports, contracts, change orders, invoices, and subcontractor/contractor information related to the above work.
- Any enforcement actions, violations, stop-work orders, corrective actions, or notices related to the above properties.
