The following is responsive to your request:
The Township is in receipt of your OPRA request for the arrest report, incident report, and mugshot related to incident number 2023-12136. The events of one of the police report involves allegations of a domestic violence incident, as such the records are confidential pursuant to the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act of 1991 (“DV Act”), N.J.S.A. 2C:25-17 to -35 and have been redacted accordingly. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1; Brennan v. Bergen Cty. Prosecutor’s Office, 233 N.J. 330 (2018); North Jersey Media Group, Inc. v. Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, 2018 WL 3945641 (N.J. App. Div. Aug. 17, 2018). Attached please find the arrest report and incident report responsive to your request. Personal identifying information, including personal telephone numbers, month and date of birth, and home addresses, have been redacted. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1; Burnett v. Cnty. of Bergen, 198 N.J. 408, 423 (2009). Finally, your request for mugshots is denied because such are exempt from disclosure under OPRA. See Executive Order 69 (Whitman); Melton v. City of Camden (Camden), GRC Complaint No. 2011-233 (Jan. 29, 2013).
