Subject: Letter c/o Cyberscout
Good morning,
We received a letter from the City of Hoboken c/o Cyberscout providing
more details on the cybersecurity incident of last year. Some of the
information that was compromised was bank account information. We
contacted Cyberscout to get information, but they were not helpful.
Is there a way of finding out what bank account information was
compromised? For example, it’s the bank account information that pays
your property taxes, or your bank account that pays your HPU permits.
Cyberscout kept saying, “It’s the bank account you registered with the
city.” What bank account would we “register” with the City of Hoboken?
Thank you,
Michael
