Dear Hoboken City,

I am writing to request access to and copies of records under the New Jersey Freedom of Information Act.
Specifically, I am seeking information related to:

The City of Hoboken has received your OPRA request Log # 25-1369 and the due date for the request is June 10. 202. The City of Hoboken requires an additional thirty (30) days to respond to the request. Due to the high volume of Hoboken Police Department requests. The office will not be able to fulfill the request in the allotted timeframe given by OPRA. The new due date will July 10, 2025. If possible, the HPD will forward the response as soon as it is completed. T.Y.

All new business is register with the New Jersey State and Hudson County
Administration which is located at 595 Newark Ave Jersey City N. J. and
the general contact number is (201-795-6000). The only time you register a
new business to the Hoboken Board of Health in the City of Hoboken is when
you are dealing with food, mobile food trunk, chemicals & etc.. The
contact number for the Hoboken Board of Health is (201-420-2000 x5209).
Question relating to Zoning you need to contact the Zoning Office Ann
Holtzman (201-420-200 x3100) and e-mail ([email address]).

Dear City Clerk,

 

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Dr. Demi Maglio and I am an
independent contractor psychologist who works from home fully and provides
virtual counseling services. Right now, I am contracted by a
larger company as an individual contractor (i.e., 1099). I am thinking of
opening a single-member LLC to separate my personal accounts from my
business accounts. I operate entirely online and do not see clients in
person or conduct any business at a physical location within Hoboken. I
would use my home address located in Hoboken as the business address for
mailing and registration purposes only.

 

I am writing to ask:

 1. Would my business require a business license or zoning approval from
the City of Hoboken?
 2. If yes, could you please advise on the correct application process and
any associated fees?

I want to ensure I am in full compliance with all applicable local
requirements if I pursue this route and appreciate your guidance.
