Dear Anonymous,
The Board is in receipt of your Open Public Records Act ("OPRA") request.
Specifically, your request sought:
“Any data or report on about 2020-2021 AP Scores, that reflects the number
of percentage of Hispanic students who took at least one AP Exam and
scored between 3-5.
and
Any data or report on about 2020-2021 AP Scores, that reflects the number
of percentage of African American students who took at least one AP Exam
and scored between 3-5.”
Your request requires additional time to respond due to the need to review
potentially responsive records for confidential information and due to the
significant demands placed on the District with regard to the
exceptionally large number of OPRA requests the Board has received. OPRA
allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-5(i). Specifically, OPRA states that “the requestor shall be advised
by the custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is
not made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied.”
Accordingly, your request requires an extension of time until December 8,
2022.
Regards,
Lisa Goldstein
