I am in receipt of your OPRA request sent to the Township of Wyckoff on
Monday, November 12. You are requesting “any and all information related
to Janice Wolfe of Merlin’s Kids & United K9 Professionals” whether it be
payroll, criminal, complaints, lawsuits, tax fraud, animal neglect, and/or
any information pertaining to her organizations including any names of
employees or board members.

The Wyckoff Police Department has no information related to Janice Wolfe
of Merlin’s Kids & United K9 Professionals. The only two areas in your
request that we could possibly respond too are criminal and complaints.
Any criminal matter would be exempt from disclosure under N.J.S.A.
47:1A-1.1 defines “Criminal Investigatory Record” as “a record which is
not required by law to be made, maintained or kept on file that is held by
a law enforcement agency which pertains to any criminal investigation or
related civil enforcement proceeding. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1 also states that
“Criminal Investigatory Records” are not “Government Records.”  

Furthermore, regarding “complaints” in your request, could you be more
specific and identify what complaints you are looking for and be specific
on date(s) or range of dates. This would help greatly to address your

Received. Thank you. The only complaints I could possibly give you are Municipal Ordinance complaints related to dogs barking (noise complainst) or dog(s) running at large. Any dog citations would have to be requested through the Wyckoff Municipal Court. Frauds, scams, lawsuits, we do not handle.
