This is the information I received from the building department.
There is no survey on file
The water service was replaced in 2018
There was a project in 2009 that involved the front porch and roof but the
file is incomplete.
The garage roof was replaced in 2002

Is there any other information regarding the project in 2009 that involved the front porch and roof? You said the file was incomplete, is there a permit that wasn't closed? Please provide any other details/information you can.

Good Morning,
After discussing your last email with our Const. Official, we pulled some
permit information from an older file in the basement. Please see
attached information. We show no record for a front porch at this
address. There was a permit for similar work at the house next door,
708-18th Avenue. It also appears that at some point, the two contiguous
properties known as 709 & 711 18th Avenue were combined. That typically
happens with two non-conforming lots, side by side with the same owner.
