Dear Ocean County Prosecutor's Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Ocean County Prosecutor's Office's handling of my OPRA request 'Any and all documents related to the missing person investigation of Mortimer Wortman'.
I am having difficulty understanding how my request was deemed as 'vague' when I listed specific documents (e.g. 911 transcript calls related to Mortimer Wortman's disappearance, dispatch logs, police reports on the investigation into Mortimer's disappearance, DNA analysis for biological evidence left on a sheathed knife, which was submitted into the investigation over three weeks ago by a search member).
Further, Dina R. Khajezadeh did not offer any constructive advice on how my request should be worded. Many of the records I have listed are unambiguous. If I failed to use the proper terminology, please advise me on how those records should be described.
Even if some of my requested records were deemed as inexplicit, I do not see how that should disqualify my request for other explicitly listed records.
I will be filing a complaint due to the improper handling of my OPRA request.
A full history of my OPRA request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://opramachine.com/request/any_and_...
Yours faithfully,
J. Hassan
