Chispi is a beloved pet who was born without her front two legs. Though she was living in a happy home, the small Chihuahua struggled with mobility in day-to-day life. Through our Community Medicine Team, we were able to help get Chispi a custom wheelie vest—a
device that not only changed Chispi’s life, but the life of her family as well. |

At an ASPCA emergency shelter, our team spent months sheltering and caring for over 600 animals left behind in the devastation of Hurricane Maria on the island of St. Croix. Small, helpless kittens were among the many animals whom we found on the damaged island
in need of our assistance. |

Goofy, lovable Juice was found abandoned on a construction lot. He then spent months at the ASPCA Adoption Center, struggling to get noticed by adopters. Fortunately, a young man decided to take a chance on this misunderstood pit bull—a decision that changed
both of their lives for the better. Juice is now a beloved pet and an ambassador for his breed. |

Little Lee was born with front legs that awkwardly bowed out, and extra toes on his back feet. After he was transferred from a local shelter, the veterinarians at the ASPCA Kitten Nursery worked tirelessly to help correct the young kitten’s front legs with
small splints—and it worked! Thanks to their hard work, Lee can now live a normal, healthy life—extra toes and all! |
