Dear Chief Nelson & Mr. Robins,

As you may be aware, NJ just implemented a new law encompassing Animal Cruelty.  Each municipality is required to have a Humane Law Enforcement Officer (HLEO).  I’m attaching a pamphlet version of the law here as well as benefits of appointing a current ACO.  As the manager of Animal Control contracted with Dunellen, I would like to set up a meeting to discuss any questions and open lines of communication as our dept will likely be on scene and we would be taking any animals from this situation here to the shelter.  Please let me know when you would like to meet.  Thank you!
