request for….”All dash cam and body cam footage of the pedestrian incident
at Shop Rite,
178 East Hanover Avenue on November 9, 2021 at 7:26 p.m.” The Township has
conducted a search and located responsive body cam footage. There is no
responsive dash cam footage.
The body cam footage, with medical information redacted, pursuant to
Executive Order 26 (prohibiting the release of all “Information related to
medical,
psychological history, diagnosis, treatment or evaluation”) is available
for mailing or pickup. It cannot be emailed due to its size. If you wish
to receive it via
mail, please provide a mailing address. Otherwise, the CD is available for
pickup at the Township’s Police Headquarters located at 1000 Route 10
in Whippany (intersection of Route 10 W and North Jefferson Road). You can
contact Sgt. John Schauder at [1][email address] to arrange a
date and time for pickup. Your OPRA is now deemed answered and closed.
