Hello, 

The Building/Construction Department is in receipt of your request made
pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA).  The
statutorily mandated timeframe to respond is seven (7) business days
provided that the record is not archived or in storage.  The computer
systems that hold the records you seek have been out of commission and
therefore an additional 30 days is required to fulfill your
request.  Notwithstanding this fact, the Township of Montclair is making a
reasonable effort, as the circumstances permit, to respond to your OPRA
request as soon as practical. 

Lastly, kindly note that if you are only seeking to review the permit
history, whether there are open and/or closed permits, you can review
those documents via the SDL portal. It is a free service provided that you
register with an email. The link to access the SDL portal is on the
township website.
