This will acknowledge receipt of your e-mail below which follows up on your July 26th e-mail submitting an OPRA request seeking all police reports associated with 14 Pine Avenue. You will recall that I forwarded your OPRA request to the West Long Branch Police Department the same day I received it (July 26th) asking them to respond.
I am once again copying the Police Department on this e-mail reminding them that this request is outstanding and must be answered immediately. Further, I request that they copy me on their response.

I have been notified by the West Long Branch Police Department that the Records Clerk has been out of the office for an extended period of time; thus causing a delay in the response to this OPRA request. Therefore, due to the Records Clerk's absence and the volume of records involved in this request, the Borough is requesting an extension of time to respond to this request to Friday, August 20th.
