Dear Livingston Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

requested is a "public record" under common law. If the requestor has a

I am asking for the bodycam video as it recorded me and my spouse and I wish to have a record of it to memorialize the interaction. I have no intentions of making this video available to the public at large nor sharing it on social media and there are no commercial interests or intentions for these public records.
I have not been convicted of any crime nor is any crime captured on the video.

The Police Department has provided a CAD Report, consisting of 2 letter
size pages, a copy of the Operation Report consisting of 1 letter size
page, a Cd-R disc of the 911 Call for incident 2024-36935 on 12/7/24 at
75 E Northfield Rd and a DVD-R disc of the Body Worn Camera video for the
same incident responsive to your request.
Any redactions to and/or exemptions made to the record(s) attached herein
are based upon OPRA Exemptions, Executive Orders and State Law and are
consistent with;
N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 (Legislative Findings)
1) Privacy Interest - “a public agency has a responsibility and an
obligation to safeguard from public access a citizen's personal
information with which it has been entrusted when disclosure thereof would
violate the citizen's reasonable expectation of privacy.” See Burnett v.
Cnty. of Bergen, 198 N.J. 408 (2009).
20) Personal identifying information. Specifically:
f. Month and day of birth.
h. Telephone numbers.
Pursuant to Executive Order No. 26 (McGreevey 2002) Information relating
to medical, psychiatric or psychological history, diagnosis, treatment or
evaluation.
Although you have written: "I have no intentions of making this video
available to the public at large nor sharing it on social media and there
are no commercial interests or intentions for these public records." By
requesting records through [1]opramachine.com, the responsive records will
be posted online for the public to view in perpetuity.
The 2 discs are available for pickup in the Township Clerk's Office or can
be mailed to you.
Upon receipt of payment, the responsive records will be mailed or handed
over to you, based upon your response. Below is the cost of the supplies
and discs for mailing or picking up the records.

reference to our tracking # 25-0010 Prigot at the address below in the
amount of $3.49 for the cost of the records to be mailed to you. Please
confirm the address to which you would like the responsive footage to be
sent.
If you prefer to pick up the documents from the Clerk's Office at the
address below, the cost would be $1.15 ($3.49 -Postage and the Envelope
cost).
