Dear Mr. Budin:

I received your OPRA request dated May 2, 2023 on May 2, 2023, as such,
the seven (7)  business day deadline to respond is May 11, 2023. I am
responding to you on the 6th business day after receipt of your request.

Your OPRA request sought access to the following records:

All open and closed permits and violations for 4 Ashington Club Road

With regards to open and closed permits

The Borough does not maintain a permit history. If you are seeking
confirmation that there are no open permits, please apply for a
Construction Records Clearance (CRC) Certificate. Confirmation cannot be
provided via an OPRA request.

In addition to the fire inspection, the CRC is also required for every
home sale in the Borough pursuant to Ordinance 2020-14. The CRC
application and the Ordinance are attached for your convenience.

If you have any questions regarding the CRC, kindly contact the
Construction Department at 908-234-0611 x11.

With regards to violations.

No records found.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Far Hills to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
You may contact the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at
P.O. Box 819, Trenton, NJ, 08625, by e-mail at [1][email address], or
at their web site at [2]www.state.nj.us/grc. The GRC can also answer other
questions about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in
Superior Court should be directed to the Court Clerk in your County.

I will consider this OPRA request closed.

Sincerely,
