Dear Brick Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
All Motor Vehicle Crash Report(s) from March 18, 2025 through present-day April 9, 2025 where summonses were issued.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments.

Brick Township adheres to N.J.S.A 39:4-131* and Chapter 338-6A(1) of the Brick Township Code* and charges $5.00 per Motor Vehicle Accident report for all requests that are not made in person (via mail, email, internet submissions or fax).
You can submit the request in person to avoid this cost.
There were 21 Crash reports with summons’s issued.
21 x $5 is $105.00 for those reports.

A. The following fees shall be charged for copies of public documents and records:
(1) Police reports: The fee shall be in accordance with the rates established by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5, set forth in Subsection A(2) below. For police accident reports not requested in person, an additional fee of $5 shall be charged to cover the administrative costs of the report, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-131.
