Dear Englishtown Borough,

I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Good Morning,
Attached are the email logs requested.
Your request seeks the following records:
"all emails from December 1, 2024 to March 13, 2025 from Mayor Daniel Francisco, Council Members: Alexi Reque, William Sabin, Lou Sarti, Alexi Reque, Meaghan Lewis, William Lewis, Kyle Jewusiak" is denied, as the request for any and all emails to and from Mayor and Council, is overly broad and overly vague. According to the amended OPRA statute, requests for electronic communications may be denied “…if the request does not identify a specific job title or accounts to be searched, a specific subject matter, and is not confined to a reasonable time period…” N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(g). In order to correct this deficiency in your OPRA request, you will need to specify the secondary parties to the communication you are seeking.

Thank you,
