Dear Hainesport Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
All Communications between Hainesport Township Officials and Hainesport Township School Officials between January 1, 2022 and April 17, 2023 regarding the Hainesport Township School Budget, including any notifications by school officials communicating shortfalls, shortages, or budget concerns/crisis, which former Mayor Bruce MachLachlan confirmed as having been communicated to the Township by the School when he publicly, and expressly stated on or about April 14, 2023, "the Committee was notified by the school of a budget crisis."
