Good morning, 
This email acknowledges receipt of your OPRA request dated July 15th 2026,
requesting:

"All Bid Submittals for Recycling Collection Service Bid on July 7,
2026."

The responsive records are maintained by the Township in paper format and
are not available electronically. Accordingly, the Township is unable to
provide the records as email attachments, as requested. OPRA does not
require a public agency to convert paper records into an electronic
format.
Because the bid packages consist of multiple documents that must be
reviewed to determine whether any information is exempt from disclosure
under the Open Public Records Act or otherwise protected by law and
requires redaction, the Township requires an extension of time to complete
its review and prepare the records for release.
Accordingly, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i), the Township respectfully
requests an extension until July 29th 2026 to respond to your request.
Upon completion of the review, the records will be made available for
inspection during normal business hours or provided as paper copies upon
payment of the applicable copying fees. 
Please advise if you agree to this extension.

Dear Weehawken Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA
and the common law right of access.  I am not required to fill out an
official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request
per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including
all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place
of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New
Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
