To whom it may concern,

The office received your records request on Monday October 19, 2020, and it was received by the records custodian at that time.

Attached are the Complaint Warrant No. 2020 1335 000267, the accompanying affidavit of probable cause, PLEIR, and arrest report. These records are redacted. Personal identifiers are redacted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(a) and N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1(citizen's privacy). The victim's name and other details that may lead to the victim's identity being revealed or relate to any connection between the victim and the defendant are redacted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9; N.J.S.A. 2C:25-33; and R. 1:38-3(c)(12) and (d)(9-10).

This office does not have a CAD report for this case, nor has an indictment been returned at this time; therefore, your request for these documents cannot be fulfilled. See Back v. Tp of River Vale, GRC Complaint No. 2005-209, Analysis (Feb 2006) (Custodian’s certification that she did not provide a list of all township employees and a list of all department heads, titles, and responsibilities because these documents did not exist was sufficient to meet Custodian’s burden to prove denial of access was lawful pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-6).

Your request for a narrative is denied as a request for criminal investigatory records and/or domestic violence records, neither of which are public records. N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1(1). North Jersey Media Group, Inc. v. Township of Lyndhurst, 229 N.J. 541, 555, 564 (2017); N.J.S.A. 47:1A-9; N.J.S.A. 2C:25-33; and R. 1:38-3(c)(12) and (d)(9-10).

Yours Truly,
