Dear Town of Kearny,
Please be advised I Jhadeja Ricketts and looking for help for injuries resulting from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 3/24/2024. Please refer to case number 24-12669 for reference.

At the time of the accident i was collecting witness statements when an officer told them they were not necessary because they would be using the intersection traffic cameras as evidence. When the reporting officer went to pull the footage the dept informed him the cameras were off that day. So im looking for various type of footage and information to give back to the reporting officer in hopes of reengaging the witness for their statement and settle my denied insurance claim that came as a result of no witnesses. Both the witness who were told their statement was not needed called the police and requested a help to the scene so their names and identities are on record.

Please provide the following items: (1) A complete copy of the entire investigative file regarding this incident; (2) All surveillance video and/or traffic camera video at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Bergen Avenue; (3) All police dash camera videos including the audio recordings related to the incident; (4) All police body camera videos including the audio recordings related to the incident; (5) All notes taken by the responding all police officers including the name, address, and telephone numbers of all witnesses to the incident; (6) All photographs and/or videos regarding this incident; (7) All reports from the Police Department, Fire Department and EMS regarding this incident; (8) All CAD reports regarding this incident; (9) All 911 phone call audio recordings describing and/or mentioning this incident to the 911 dispatcher, police, and/or fire department and name and number of the caller.
