The Township of Old Bridge received an Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on March 3, 2021. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to
respond to your request is March 12, 2021. The Township is responding to
your request on the third business day from the receipt of your request.
The request was for:
A copy of the newspaper announcement of Himanshu Shah’s hiring sometime in
mid 1991
Please be aware that there are no records responsive to your request.
Newspaper articles are not Township records.
The township does use the Home News Tribune and The Star Legder, if you
wish to contact them.

I am unsure of what you mean by the question "Does the Township Keep original records?"
Based on your original request, I may assume you mean advertisements to the newspaper. The Township submits and maintains advertisements and affidavits of legal notices which include ordinance notices, budget notices, notices of meetings, etc. Per the records retention regulations, we are required to maintain them on file for 6 years.
As stated in the original response to your request on March 8, Please be aware that there are no records responsive to your request. Newspaper articles are not Township records.
