Jennifer Lovett

Dear Brick Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
Requesting all available 911 documentation and/or recordings for January 1, 2026-December 31, 2026, originating from the following location:

Complete Care at Brick
415 Jack Martin Blvd
Brick Township, NJ 08724

I understand audio recordings may no longer be available. To minimize any burden or cost, I'm only seeking existing records in their current format, such as a basic log showing date, time, location, and call type or disposition. I'm not requesting any customized reports, formatting, or additional redaction beyond what is already standard. If such records are available in a simple log or report format, that would be sufficient. I'm requesting these copies be provided electronically via email, if available. I do not require papers copies. Thank you.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Jennifer Lovett

Dear Jessica Larney,

Thank you for sending the call logs. Does this include medical 911 calls from this facility? If so, on the medical end if you have those recordings we would like to receive them.

Just to clarify you did not receive a call on 3/29/26 originating from Complete Care at Brick, the facility claims they made a 911 call on this date.

Yours sincerely,

Jennifer Lovett

Hi Jennifer,

As stated in my prior email, any questions would have to be directed to the Police Department, as it is their response.

However, I can tell you that when they stated " Note: Division of Archives and Records Management, M900000-006, Audio Tapes- 0010-0000 Tape Recordings of Police Dispatches and citizen's calls has a total retention period of 31 days prior to destruction" which means that after 31 days the 911 calls are automatically deleted. Therefore, even if there were tapes, they don't exist anymore. If you want to know if there was a call to begin, please call the Police at the number provided in my prior email.

Sincerely,

Jessica L. Larney, RMC/CMR

Dear Jessica Larney,

Since we last spoke regarding the EMS call for James Hogan at Complete Care at Brick on 03/29/2026, I have tried to contact EMS services. I found a number but did not receive a callback. I know you spoke of a possible subpoena to retain this call log. I'm aware the records are not available, but just the call itself from the facility would be a great help. If you have any contact information on whom I can speak with regarding this, let me know.

Please feel free to give me a call if it's easier to speak on the phone, (609)786-2540.

Yours sincerely,

Jennifer Lovett
