depending on the type of records requested.

RE: OPRA REQUEST of 12/23/2019, Reference # W015281-122319
Dear Anonymous,
The Camden County Custodian of Records received your Open Public Records
Act request on 12/23/2019. To access your request please click [1]here.
Your request detailing the following information: "We are looking for the
county's 911 calls. We are looking for the 911 call report to be between
January 1st to the present." is too broad or contains insufficient
information and seeks documents that are not specifically “identifiable”
for Camden County Communications to gather a response. As such, the
request submitted is a wholesale request for information that is not
encompassed by the intent of OPRA as has been articulated in N.J.S.A.
47:1A-1, et. seq. and MAG Entertainment v. Division of Alcoholic Beverage
Control, 375 N.J. Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005).
Please submit a new request, with the pertinent information to allow us to
conduct a proper search of our records. Camden County Communications
informed this office that they can generate a report for the number of
calls for service for the year. Also, is there an address associated with
the calls you are looking for? Please specify with what you are looking
for in the new request. This letter constitutes completion of your
request.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. if your request for access to a
government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7)
business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision
by the County of Camden to deny access. As provided by law, you have the
right to either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey
or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by
completing their Denial of Access Complaint Form located at the GRC’s
website at www.state.nj.us/grc. You may contact the GRC by toll-free
telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O. Box 819, Trenton, NJ, 08625, by
e-mail at [email address]. The GRC can also answer other questions
about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court
should be directed to the Superior Court.
Should you have any questions, please contact the Custodian of Records at
(856) 225-2131.
Sincerely,
Michael Mevoli for
