This email constitutes a formal and complete response to your July 19,
2022, OPRA request for the two 911 call recordings/transcripts in
reference for help being requested on 1/23/2022 @ 7:33pm from cell phone
ending in *8699 from 22 Hampton Rd – Cranford.

In accordance with N.J.A.C. 17:24-2.4 and the New Jersey State Records
Retention Schedule, the retention period for 911 recordings is 31 days.
Accordingly, the County 911 center no longer maintains a copy of this
recording. As a point of clarification, the County receives 911 calls for
Cranford Township and handles the call if it concerns a fire or a medical
situation. Calls regarding police matters are forwarded immediately to the
municipal police. If this was a police matter, you may wish to submit an
OPRA request to the Township

transcripts the agency may have on file.
