911 Audio 10/22/2019 Shooting Incident
Dear Brick Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Please provide digital audio files in electronic format of all recorded 911 calls received by the Brick Township Police of the shooting on October 22, 2019 in the area of Brick Memorial High School.
In the event that there is a voluminous amount of calls, please limit these to the first 5 call recordings so as to avoid a special service charge.

As per your OPRA request below:
“911 calls received by the Brick Township Police of the shooting on October 22, 2019 in the area of Brick Memorial High School” – After consultation with the Township Attorney and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, this item is exempt under N.J.S.A. 2A:4A-60(a) which states in pertinent part that: “Social, medical, psychological, legal and other records of the court and probation division, and records of law enforcement agencies, pertaining to juveniles charged as a delinquent or found to be part of a juvenile family crisis, shall be strictly safeguarded from public inspection.”
