Good morning, Mayors:
On behalf of the Middlesex County Board of County Commissioners and in partnership with the Human Services Advisory Council (HSAC), we cordially invite you to join the Housing Policy Summit on August 13th, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. at Middlesex College Parkview Room.
Earlier this year, Governor Murphy signed A4/S50 into law, reforming municipal responsibilities for affordable housing and abolishing the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH). Gain insight and understanding of the new affordable housing regulations, explore best practices, and network with your peers. Learn about this new law that will undoubtedly shape the future of our communities and impact affordable housing issues throughout the state.
We ask if you can please extend this invitation to your municipal planning, economic development, affordable housing, or any other relevant municipal offices, staff or volunteers. As well, please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who is otherwise involved in the planning and developing of affordable housing within your community.
Thank you, and we are excited to see your attendance on August 13th!
