This email is to acknowledge receipt of your OPRA request dated 10/8/2020
and received via email on 10/9/2020. This response is being provided on
the fourth business day after the receipt of your request.
Please note, your request for "any and all records..." is not a valid
request under the OPRA Statute. The Open Public Records Act provides for
citizen access to specifically identified public records. Searches,
requests for information or requests that ask questions are NOT valid OPRA
requests. According to the Government Records Council publication, “A
Citizen’s Guide to the Open Public Records Act,” OPRA requests must be
specific: Requestors must be as specific as possible when requesting
records. For example, requestors must identify types of records, dates,
parties to correspondence, subject matter, etc.
I forwarded your request to our Building Department, Planning & Zoning
Office and the Tax Assessor's Office for the record identified as permits,
inspections, survey, deeded access records. I wasn't sure what deeded
access records were but the Tax Assessor's Office provided a copy of the
property card. Please note, deeds are file with the County.
Attached please find document(s) in response to your recent OPRA request.
To the best of my knowledge, no other records exist that would be
responsive to your request. If you are aware of a specific document that
you believe has been omitted, please clearly identify that record by name,
date and subject matter.
This will close this OPRA request.
