We received your OPRA June 8th and responded to you today, June 8th, rather than the permitted 7 business days to respond.

Regarding building permit histories, the Township makes them available on line through our website. In accordance with Rodriguez v. Kean University, GRC Complaint 2013-69 (March 2014), we are providing you the link to our website to use the portal www.sdlportal.com. If you find you are unable to access the records you requested, please contact the building department. Any address in Vernon with a permit history (and the individual permits with their status as well as FEMA information) will appear on this portal. The Vernon website is www.vernontwp.com and the building portal is on the opening page or you can access the portal directly. Please take advantage of this portal in the future.
Any questions on the permit history must be directed to the building department who can be reached at 973-764-4055 ext. 2254, 2255.
