With regards to your request for "Open/Closed Permits", for your
convenience, the Construction Official’s Office has indicated that the
requested permit records, as well as inspections, code cases, violations,
licenses, fire, zoning, etc., are available on-line and may be located on
the www.jcnj.org/permitportal where you can register and research any
property in Jersey City.  Please note that any permit prior to the latter
part of 2006, based upon the NJ Permit extension act, will be deemed
abandoned; after that it is considered open; to close the permit it will
require an inspection.

As to your request for "Survey", please be advised the City does not
maintain survey records, nor does the City surveys any property, unless it
is a City-owned property.  Therefore, no records exist.  You will need to
retain your own surveyor.
This OPRA request shall now be deemed closed.
