Attached is a Zoning Permit for the property located at 123 Hermann
Street. However we have no records with regard to a variance, a hearing
on a variance, or copies of letters sent to neighbors regarding the
property.
There are blueprints however, if you would like them there will be a cost
attached to getting a copy of the blueprints. Please let me know if you
would like me to get the cost for you. if so, our office must receive
payment before we print them. Please let me know as soon as you can.

Dear Otero Jennifer,
Please provide a copy the zoning transfer when it was converted into a two family. The chain of title shows as one family. Your office has stated it was a two family prior to construction with no variance. I am interested in a copy of the blueprints. Please advise as to the cost. I would also like a copy of all pre-existing permits for 123 Hermann street pre-dating the current update.

I will submit this request to the building department. I was advised that the Blueprints are not attainable however the outside site plans are, at a cost to you that I will have to get. Your due date is August 1, 2019.

Dear Otero Jennifer,
Historically in the prior emails you stated the plans are available upon request with a cost to myself. I am willing to incur that cost. You now claim I cannot obtain a copy of the plans. This specific property was a gut renovation where plans are required. Does the city have plans to this property??? I also asked for all permitting predating the current update from 2017- 2018. I also requested all certificates of occupancy or temporary certificate of occupancy related to the property since it was build and transfer of ownership in December 2018.

I unfortunately was misinformed. You can come in and view the blueprints. You can get a copy of the outside sight plans however any surveys done of the property belong to the previous property owner and you will have to get your own survey done.. If you have any questions regarding this you are more than welcome to contact the Carteret Engineering Department at 732-541-3826 as that is the department that advised me. (Attached) please see your previous email as you did not request the records you are now requesting. Your email is being processed as a new OPRA Request and will be ready on August 1, 2019. If you have any questions or concerns I encourage you to contact the Carteret Municipal Clerk's office to schedule a viewing or the Engineering Office.
