This email is to acknowledge receipt of your OPRA request dated 5/24/2021
and received via email on 5/25/2021.  This response is being provided on
the fourth business day after the receipt of your request.

Please be advised, your request for “the entire building file" or "any
other records..." is not a proper request under the OPRA Statute. The Open
Public Records Act provides for citizen access to specifically identified
public records.  Searches, requests for information or requests that ask
questions are NOT valid OPRA requests. According to the Government Records
Council publication, “A Citizen’s Guide to the Open Public Records Act,”
OPRA requests must be specific:  Requestors must be as specific as
possible when requesting records. For example, requestors must identify
types of records, dates, parties to correspondence, subject matter, etc. 

I forwarded your request to our Building Department, Code Enforcement
Office and Planning & Zoning Department for clearly identified records
only.  The Building Department has provided the attached permit log.  Both
the Code Enforcement Office and Planning & Zoning Department responded
that they were not able to identify any records that would be responsive
to your request.  This is not the result of a comprehensive search.  If
you seek additional records, please submit a new OPRA request and identify
those records by name, date and subject matter.
