1. Any and all electronic traffic control signal sequencing documents in effect at the present time for the above intersection.
2. Any and all records of inspection, maintenance, installation and/or repair to any/all electronic traffic control signals (including for traffic lights/signals and all other electronic traffic control signals) for the above intersection.
3. Any and all records of any complaints or notices received regarding malfunction, breakage or conflict in or of any/all electronic traffic control signals for the above intersection.

This request is being forwarded to the appropriate Unit(s) to determine if records responsive to your request exist, and for further review of your request in light of the law governing OPRA requests and the Department of Transportation’s document retention policies.

Please be advised that item number 1 of your request for "Any and all
electronic traffic control signal..." As defined within the New Jersey
Administrative Code (NJAC 16:1A-4.5), requests for traffic control records
are not handled under the scope of OPRA, therefore, this portion of your
request is closed and the official Closure Receipt is attached.
Your request for Traffic control signal records requires a fee of $10.00
per timing sequence for timing sequence records, and $15.00 per signal
plan for traffic signal plans. Please submit your request specifying the
location, along with a check or money order made payable to New Jersey
Department of Transportation for the appropriate amount. This payment is
to be sent to the attention of Jaime Oplinger at the following address:

Additionally, requests for date specific certification of operation of
signal records requires a fee of $100.00 per date, per intersection.
Please provide a letter on your company’s letterhead (if applicable)
specifying the location, along with a check or money order in the
appropriate amount made payable to New Jersey Department of
Transportation. This payment is to be sent to the attention of Daniel A.

As this office handles many similar requests statewide, the wait time to
receive the requested information is generally 3-4 weeks.
Available records responsive to items 2 & 3 of your request for "Any and
all records of inspection, maintenance..." and "Any and all records of any
complaints or notices..." are attached, along with the official Closure
Receipt. Also note that personal identifying information is redacted in
accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1.
Therefore, this request is closed effective today.
