Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

I request copies of the actual notices, letters, emails, mailed correspondence, and related enforcement correspondence sent to the property owner in 2026 concerning bamboo, invasive plants, vegetation, or Chapter 233 enforcement at:

This request includes the actual notices or letters corresponding to the April 28, 2026 violations for:

§233-3 – Control of Growth / invasive plant species; and
§233-6 – Plantings of invasive plants prohibited.

I am not requesting the violations log report. I am requesting the actual notices, letters, emails, mailed correspondence, and any related correspondence sent to the homeowner regarding the 2026 bamboo violations.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Dear Brick Township,

I am following up regarding the OPRA request submitted on July 15, 2026, concerning the actual notices, letters, emails, mailed correspondence, and related enforcement correspondence sent to the owners of 221 Cherry Quay Road regarding the 2026 bamboo violations.

The response deadline was July 24, 2026. I have not received the requested records, a denial, a request for clarification, or a written request for an extension containing a specific production date.

Please provide the responsive records immediately. If Brick Township contends that additional time is necessary, please provide a written explanation and a definite date by which the complete response will be produced.

This is a follow-up to the existing request and should not be treated as a new OPRA request or used to restart the response period.
