Dear West Windsor Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Please provide copies of all press releases, press advisories, and other invitations or announcements sent to members of the press by the Mayor's Office, governing body, or municipal departments (including the police) during the year 2024.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Regarding your OPRA request #2025-143 received on February 24, 2025:

invitations or announcements sent to members of the press by the Mayor's
Office, governing body, or municipal departments (including the police)
during the year 2024.”
Please provide clarification regarding “members of the press” for us to
correctly fulfill your request. Are you seeking “press releases, press
advisories, and other invitations or announcements” outside the scope of
our normal business advertising and legal requirements that are sent to
our two official Township newspapers which are the Trenton Times and the
Princeton Packet?

Department of Public Works: Other than the normal government business
advertising and legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two
official Township newspapers including the Times and the Princeton Packet
and on the Township website, Public Works only places advertisements in
The Community News Paper for events held at their location, such as
Spring/Fall Clean Ups (Dumpster Days) and Paper Shred events.
Governing Body: The Governing Body has not made any press releases, press
advisories and/or other invitations or announcements to members of the
press during the year 2024.
Police Department: Other than the normal government business advertising
and legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two official
Township newspapers including the Times and the Princeton Packet and on
the Township website, or news and notices sent to the Police Department
Facebook page or Nixle, West Windsor Police does not send press releases,
advisories invitations or announcements to members of the press.
Community Development: Other than the normal government business
advertising and legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two
official Township newspapers including the Times and the Princeton Packet
and on the Township website, Community Development places notices to
road/traffic agencies, and Facebook posts are used for traffic advisories.
Community Development does not send press releases, advisories invitations
or announcements to members of the press.
Recreation: Other than the normal government business advertising and
legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two official Township
newspapers including the Times and the Princeton Packet and on the
Township website, the Recreation Department does not send press releases,
press advisories, and other invitations or announcements to members of the
press.
Code Enforcement: Other than the normal government business advertising
and legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two official
Township newspapers including the Times and the Princeton Packet and on
the Township website, Code Enforcement does not send press releases, press
advisories, and other invitations or announcements to members of the
press.
Tax Collector: Other than the normal government business advertising and
legal requirements that are sent to the Township’s two official Township

Township website, the Tax Collector does not send press releases, press
