Dear East Brunswick Township,
Under OPRA and the common law right of access, please provide a copy of the 2024 meeting schedule for the governing body, and for each board, commission, committee, or other municipal agency that holds public meetings, including but not limited to planning board, zoning board of adjustment, redevelopment agency, housing authority, utilities authority, parking authority, traffic commission, rent control/leveling board, environmental commission, shade tree commission, and open space committee.
If the schedules are unclear about the location/method(s) of meeting, I kindly ask that you clarify for me how to join and participate, and feel free to share links that can help members of the public to join and/or watch the meetings, or to watch them after they conclude.
If a particular schedule is not yet available at this time, please send what you can as soon as possible, and provide the outstanding schedule when it becomes available.

Meeting Schedules for the Construction Board of Appeals, Environmental
Commission, Fire Prevention Advisory Committee, Rent Leveling Board and
School Liaison Committee

Dear Mr. Kratovil,
Per your OPRA request received on January 30, 2024, please be advised of
the following:
▪ Attached herewith, please find the 2024 Annual Meeting Schedule for
the Township of East Brunswick [which includes meetings for the
Council, various boards, coalitions, commissions, committees, etc.].
▪ Attached, please find the meeting schedule for the Environmental
Commission.
▪ There are currently no meeting dates for the Construction Board of
Appeals, Fire Prevention Advisory Committee, Rent Leveling Board, and
School Liaison Committee
Note: Please note that the Construction Board of Appeals, Fire Prevention
Advisory Committee, Rent Leveling Board, and School Liaison Committee meet
on an as-needed basis. Should any of these boards, or committees require
an actual meeting, whether virtual or in-person, the notice of such a
meeting will be advertised in two newspapers [specially the boards],
posted on the Township’s website, and further posted on the Township’s
bulletin board located in the main lobby of the Municipal Building.
However, if nothing warrants a meeting, the status remains as is. Please
note that Advisory Committees are established to provide recommendations
and advice and has no enforcing power. Additionally, advisory committees
are not obligated to adhere to the same meeting requirements as the
Council, Boards, Commissions, etc.
Please note that your OPRA request is now deemed answered and closed. Should you
