Following is the response from South Brunswick Police Department:
- 172 pages of report is attached with following
redactions.
◦ Use of Force reports related to Domestic Violence cases are attached
with redactions of the names and addresses to protect the victims as
these records are exempt in accordance with N.J.S.A. 2C:25-33.
◦ Use of Force reports related to Juveniles are attached with redactions
of the names and addresses to protect the juveniles as these records
are exempt as outlined in N.J.S.A. 2A:4A-60.
◦ Use of Force reports related to Emotionally Disturbed Person are
attached with redactions of names and addresses to protect the privacy
of the EDP in accordance with Executive Order No. 26 which mandates
that “Information relating to medical, psychiatric or psychological
history, diagnosis, treatment or evaluation,” Richard Rivera v. Office
of the County Prosecutor of the County of Bergen, 2012 N.J.Super.

◦ Home addresses denied in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, whereby “a
public agency has a responsibility and an obligation to safeguard from
public access a citizen’s personal information with which it has been
entrusted when disclosure thereof would violate the citizen’s
reasonable expectation of privacy.”
