2023 County Tax Payments
Dear Bradley Beach Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
As a follow-up to my other OPRA request that wasn't completed...
Request the following:
1. All correspondence for the period 1/1/23 to 5/17/23 between the borough and the County of Monmouth related to tax billing and all payments made during the same period. That would be hard copy invoices, late notices, interest calculations for late payments to include emails.
2. Proof of payment of the same by check or wire payments.
3. Edmunds budget detailed reports that show where property taxes were charged along with what budget lines were charged for interest charges for any late fees charged by the county.

As of right now, this is going to require an extension to 5/31/23. I am in
the process of getting the wire transfer proof of payment for the interest
of late payment of County Taxes for 1st Qtr of 2023 that you
are requesting from Friday. Everything you are adding to this comes from
several different departments and does take time to obtain.

I explained an extension to 5/31/23 would be necessary (email
correspondence from 5/12/23 & 5/17/23 below). I have however & hopefully
received the records necessary from your additional 5/12/23 request &
5/17/23 request given to me by the other departments & outside resources I
needed assistance from. I have sent them to you attached to the original
email you sent on 5/17 & have attached them to this email. Please confirm
receipt of both emails & responsive records attachments.

Dear Kostyz, Erica,
From the detail provided, it looks like the tax payment was made after the
due date. Part of the original request included all payments to the
county.
Please provide the payments that were made as interest payments to the
county along with any billing from the county to support the late charges.
Thanks in advance. I am not trying to build on the OPRA request, rather
get the complete information that was requested in the original request.
