Dear South Brunswick Township,
Under OPRA and the common law right of access, please provide copies of all police internal affairs ("professional standards") summary records for the year 2020, including all annual, quarterly, and monthly reports, as well as the required synopses identifying major discipline cases, in accordance with the Attorney General of New Jersey's Directive 2020-5. Good morning Mr. Kratovil,
Under the Attorney General directive from last week, each law enforcement agency shall publish its first major discipline report in compliance with Section 9.11.2 no later than August 9, 2021, which is 60 days from the date of this Directive. The first report shall cover those substantiated major disciplines in which a plea agreement was reached or final sanction was imposed from June 15, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
In accordance with that directive the report will be available no later than August 9, 2021, however it does not currently exist.

Thank you for response. As the major discipline report specific to the AG's latest guidelines is not yet ready, please provide whatever version you have of the required synopses for 2020 major discipline cases.

Please note that back on June 24, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Ms. Parame Kannan responded with any available records as requested which included a one page report along with a link to the Township website to page 30 on the Annual report.
1. In regards to the Annual, Quarterly and Monthly report, we believe we have supplied you with everything you have requested. If that is not the case please be more specific in your request.
2. Major discipline report has not yet been created but will be posted as an addendum to the Annual Report on August 9th.
I have forwarded the request for a name and will get back to you by July 17, 2021.
