This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested: EnviroSure is conducting a Phase I ESA at 190 Bloomfield Avenue (Block 3102 Lot 25) and 35 Washington Street (Block 3102 Lot 10) so we are requesting a search of all files pertaining to the property. Especially files containing information on underground storage tanks, environmental concerns, building permits, and ownership records.

As a courtesy the Township Clerk’s Office will be emailing requestors an
extension on behalf of your department. The extension will begin with
request submitted June 28^th until July 8^th. All requests submitted from
June 28^th to July 8^th will be extended to July 20^th. We will send them
an email the states the following:
The Township Clerk’s Office received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA).
Your records requested from the Fire Department requires additional time
to fulfill because of the staff shortage in their Administrative
Department. Your request requires an extension of time until July 20,
2022.

As per our discussion, a review of our FD records excluding fires, shows that we have electronic records dating back to 2002. We have several (10-12), 500-page handwritten journals per year dating back decades(all daily activities were recorded) that are available for review. We are hoping to provide the electronic records to you by Monday 7/18/22.
The FD will respond to records pertaining to fires and spills, and inspections. Based on our discussion please be sure your request was submitted to the Building Department as well.

Everything done on the department was written down in the same book along with fires. (Deliveries, details, etc.) I have confirmed your OPRA request was sent to the Building Department, and they replied to you on 6/29.
